- The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) pathway for experienced practitioners who do not hold a formal degree, through a Higher Education Institution accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE).
- The professional career pathway through the TMA-SA designations, including:
- Associate Turnaround Practitioner
- Certified Turnaround Practitioner
- Professional Turnaround Practitioner
- Chief Restructuring Officer – this designation has been submitted to the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) for approval.
- The role of Letters of Good Standing and the licensing requirements necessary for members to accept court appointments.
