Background and experience

Have in excess of 20 years corporate banking experience.

In 1998 was appointed General Manager in the Absa Corporate & Merchant Bank (ACMB) Credit division, where responsible for the risk of a diverse portfolio of clients.

In 2000 established the Workout & Recovery unit within ACMB and later became responsible for the Business Rescue and Recoveries function (known as Business Support & Recoveries) across Absa Capital and Absa Corporate & Business Bank (ACBB) in 2005.

Responsible for a number of successful corporate restructurings on behalf of ACMB and ACBB.
