Turnaround Management Association - Southern Africa (TMA-SA) welcomes new business rescue legislation in terms of the Companies Act No. 71, 2008 the Companies Amendment Act, 2011, and Companies Regulations, 2011 to which it contributed by way of submissions and workshops with the dti.

TMA-SA is in the process of setting up a Turnaround Certification Governance Board with a Standards and an Academic Subcommittee for purposes of certifying turnaround professionals. 

TMA-SA will make it's Certified Turnaround Professional qualification available as a possible future requirement to be admitted as as business rescue practitioner.
